This is a true story from my own life.
The man was a scrap collector, and the woman was a temporary worker. They had a son who was in kindergarten. They weren't wealthy, but they were a happy family.
Several years ago, when the woman married the man, his family was very poor. According to the woman's family's customs, the man was expected to own a house at the very least, but at the time, his family had nothing. The woman still married him. She didn't look down on him because he was a scrap collector, as most people consider scrap collecting a lowly job. She didn't have a stable job and could only supplement their income by doing temporary work. They both worked hard to make a living. Then they had a son, a cute and well-behaved boy, who was of kindergarten age. The man went to various places to collect scrap every day, while the woman worked temporary jobs during the day and went home in the evenings to cook or pick up their son from school. This was their entire life. They had simple appearances, plain clothes, and a positive attitude towards life. One day at home, the woman said she was a little tired, and her son jumped in and said, "Mom, if you're tired, don't do it." He was so young, yet so considerate. The woman jokingly said to the man, "See, your son loves me more than you do." Her words were full of happiness. Now, when she talks about their past with others, she says, "His family was so poor back then, and I still married him. I feel like I was cheated, haha... If I hadn't married him, he probably would have been a bachelor forever." Actually, she wasn't complaining at all; she was just saying those happy, ironic things.
In most families today, parents are quite demanding when it comes to their children's choice of a partner, especially their daughters. They have their reasons; they hope their daughters won't have to worry about money or the future. However, their daughters, who are of marriageable age in their 30s, don't think that way. They need someone who is sincere, good to their family, and someone they can spend their lives with. They don't care about the man's family background, education, or whether he's from a wealthy family. The only things they care about are whether he is truly good to them, responsible, filial, and someone they can trust, rely on, and accompany each other.
True love exists, in every corner of the world; it just depends on whether you're open to it. I hope everyone finds happiness, and I hope everyone finds their destined one. In this world, there is one person waiting for you, and only one person truly belongs to you.
