Progressive-density layering captures coarse then fine particles at low resistance. <strong>Pros:<\/strong> economical, lightweight, disposable, good dust-holding. <strong>Cons:<\/strong> not for high heat; single-use.<\/p>\n<h2>Glass Fibre<\/h2>\n<p>Very fine, thermally stable fibres used in high-efficiency panels and HEPA media. <strong>Pros:<\/strong> high efficiency, tolerates higher temperatures, inert. <strong>Cons:<\/strong> brittle, needs careful handling, higher cost.<\/p>\n<h2>Activated Carbon<\/h2>\n<p>Not a particulate filter-it adsorbs gases, odours and VOCs.
