- The SCAC activated charcoal filter cylinder is a modular gas-phase filtration unit for commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It is engineered to strip odours and harmful gases from ventilation air, protecting occupants, equipment and stored collections.
- Granular activated carbon contains a vast network of microscopic pores and an enormous internal surface area. As air passes through the bed, organic compounds, colloids, some heavy-metal ions and microorganisms are adsorbed; manganese and iron are separated, and excess ozone is decomposed—directly improving indoor air quality.
- Mounting frame: electrostatically sprayed cold-rolled steel or stainless steel. Carbon tube: galvanised or stainless steel; the metal shell is reusable. Media: granular activated carbon treated with a special chemical formulation for strong adsorption capacity and reliable removal efficiency.
- Depending on the carbon grade specified, the cylinder can target VOCs, acidic and alkaline gases, formaldehyde, mercury vapour and even radioactive gases, in addition to general odours.

- Airports, hospitals (including respiratory-ward areas) and offices—odour control with energy-saving benefit. Museums, archives and libraries—removing SOₓ and NOₓ to protect collections. Chemical, petrochemical and steel plant central control rooms—shielding instruments from corrosive gases. Semiconductor and microelectronics manufacturing—removing molecular-level contaminants. Animal laboratories—cutting odours and protecting the environment.
