Production covers both cross-flow and counter-flow plate exchangers, rotary, wheel, exchangers, and heat-pipe exchangers, each suited to different duty points. Plate exchangers are compact and easy to clean, rotary wheels handle large airflows with both sensible and latent recovery, and heat pipes suit applications needing a sealed, maintenance-light transfer between two streams.
Customization usually starts from a duty sheet: the two airstreams, their flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, humidity, and any dust or corrosive content. From there the core size, plate or wheel material, and frame are selected. For white-plume or condensate control, a hydrophilic-coated plate pack can be specified. The objective is a one-stop arrangement where the customer provides the process conditions and receives a configured air-to-air or waste-heat recovery unit rather than sourcing separate parts.
